I will admit, it took me 4 years of living a healthy lifestyle before I was willing to join the spiralizing movement. My fiance’ is still not quite ready, while he does support my spiralizing and gives effort at trying the recipes. When I first began spiralizing vegetables, I would saute them in my stove top pans but I would cook them for entirely too long. The zoodles would end up mushy and I would be left with wondering what on earth am I doing wrong, these are terrible yet everyone loves them! Once I learned the secret, yes there is a secret and it’s only cooking zoodles long enough to heat them, I started realizing why so many people joined this spiralizing movement.
While I have yet to invest in a large spiralizer, I have my eye on a few for our wedding registry. My little spiralizer has served it’s purpose in this home as I continue to learn how to make delicious dishes with spiralized veggies. You can spiralize any vegetable. Which is the case with this beautiful presentation of Spiralized Tzatziki Cucumber Salad. Sure, it could have been made with sliced cucumbers, but the added spiral just makes you want to try it!
The many ways you can create delicious dishes with spiralized veggies are only proof within these recipes.
