Salsa Chicken

We are a canning house hold. Do you can? Do you have any favorite recipes?!? I would LOVE for you to share them with me. I learned it from my momma. She learned how to from her momma. It is something Ryan and I absolutely love to do together. We are partial to our delicious, flavor popping salsa and our spicy dill pickles. I think our pickles are more spicy than dill but they are delicious. Good ole country way of living all brought to you by canned goods, frozen stuffed peppers, and frozen fruit to make home made pies. It just doesn’t get much better than all this living.

So what do you do country you love? This Salsa Chicken is powered by our home made salsa. This will also be a staple in our home this winter. It was so easy to make and so much flavor! If you don’t have homemade salsa, no worries just pick up your favorite salsa, it will still be to die for!

What you need….

  • 2 – 3 chicken breasts
  • Paprika
  • Garlic Powder
  • Onion Powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • Season all
  • 1 jar of salsa
  • Parmesan cheese

Chicken

  • Season chicken with the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper, and season all, drizzle cast iron with olive oil and moisture, and bake on 350 for 30 mins.
  • Cover chicken with salsa and bake for 10 more minutes to thoroughly heat salsa
  • Cover with Parmesan cheese
