Keto Stuffed Mushrooms

I will be completely honest with you, mushrooms- not my favorite food. They are one of Ryan’s favorite foods. I learn how to cook them and add them to our recipes because he loves them and because I need to learn. Just because I love food and share my recipes doesn’t mean I adore every food type. One being mushrooms.

So what do we as humans do, we learn to eat foods our significant others like rather it sucks or not. Well guess what, I have learned so well how to eat foods Ryan loves, that sometimes I will even eat them willing and come up with new and exciting ways to eat them.

Today features…. Melissa learned to eat mushrooms.

What you need….

  • Portobello Mushrooms
  • Sausage
  • Cream cheese
  • Chedder cheese
  • Green onions

Directions

  • Chop and cook sausage

While the sausage is cooking, take a separate mixing bowl and add:

  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup of sausage
  • 1/4 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup green onions.

Take the mushrooms and remove the core.

Mix the sausage in with the cream cheese mixture.

Stuff mushrooms to as much or as little as you would like.

Bake on 350 for 15-20 minutes.

Serve and enjoy! In Ryan’s case- eat them all before dinner and be too full for dinner!
