YUM! Warm tomato soup with a delicious creamy twist to heat up your chilly fall evening.
Tomato soup and grilled cheese is one of my favorite meals as a child and still a favorite as an adult. As a child, I was a can of tomato soup + water and a slice of American cheese or 2. Now that my cooking skills has broadened, I tend to make my favorite more gourmet and flavor popping.
We love to spend time in the kitchen but some evenings you just want a quick and simple meal that will please everyone in your family. As a bonus, you can snuggle right back on that couch where you want to be in 20 minutes or less.
1 can of Campbell’s Tomato Bisque
1 can of 2% milk (hmm creamy)
1-2 tsp of Basil
Splash of pepper
2 Tbsp Parmesan Cheese
? mozzarella cheese
? Chedder cheese
The combination of both cheeses is so flavor popping good and melty. I also sprinkled the top of my soup with Parmesan cheese when I served it.
A simple dinner turned into a gourmet treat on a chilly evening.
