Benefits of Cooking with Cast Iron
In our home, we use cast iron for many of our recipes. The life span of a cast iron pan is unrivaled to that of traditional pots and pans. When properly cared for they can be passed down for many decades. They are naturally non-stick. Additionally, cleaning cast iron pans are easy. We keep a separate sponge in our sink that is soap free for cleaning. Here you can find some additional tips along the way of becoming a beginner with cast iron cooking: Cast Iron Cooking Tips.
Leftovers for Lunch
I love a recipe that makes great leftovers! This is perfect! Layer your pyrex or meal prep container with turkey burger, then top with Corn Salsa. Both turkey burger and corn salsa will need heated which makes them great to put in one dish! Do not heat for more than 2 minutes the microwave! I suggest 1 minute and 30 seconds to have it perfectly warm, but not too hot to enjoy!
