Are you looking for a quick nutritious bite? These protein bites are perfectly loaded with good fibers, high in protein, and a little sweet boost with honey.
I am an absolute sweet lover. I am also a healthy eating advocate because I grew up eating all sweets I wanted, eating deep fried foods, and over eating constantly. With my eating habits, I would feel sick in the stomach all the time, I was overweight, and always tired. I have to find ways to eat sweets because some days, no sweets just isn’t cutting it. I blame it on my dad, even though we all know we make our own choices. My dad is an absolute sweet lover to. I say I have his tastes in food. However, it has taken me 4 years of hard work with exercise and discipline on over eating that I have learned sometimes just treat yourself some times. I just wanted to share this with you because it is an important part of who I am and why I want to share good healthy recipes with you.
This week my sweet cravings are unreal so I had to do something to keep me in check. So here comes the best protein bites!
What you need….
- 1 cup Oatmeal
- 3/4 cup Almond butter
- 1/4 Ground Flax Seed
- 1 Tbsp Chia Seeds
- 1/4 Raisins
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 Tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 cup water
Combine all ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix well with a spatula.
Roll into 1 inch balls.
Keep in refrigerator and enjoy!
